Cantor at 25 Weeks
Cantor (Cantor vom Wenner Haus at Celhaus) at 25 weeks
Cantor is the replacement for Faith, whose hips didn’t rate good enough for breeding. (Faith is still available, preferably to a working home.)
His breeder had never seen the mountains and volunteered to drive him to me and then spend a few days in Yellowstone park, so he arrived on Labor Day, September 5, 2016.
I managed to take these photos in between rain storms.
He gets a 15 minute ball session (thrown with a ChuckIt as far as I can) every morning.
This morning, after that, I brought out new toys for the rest of the photography session, introducing them one at a time.
Once he had retrieved each one a couple of times, he’d carry it to his favorite spot (naturally a muddy one) and put it with the others. He ended up with a nice hoard.
Silly boy! Graceful, too…
At times he shows some really nice movement; at other times his legs go every which ways. He should grow into his angulation soon and move more reilably, especially as he gets some good muscle tone from all the exercise he’s now getting.
Playing with Mercy (37 weeks old).
I was amazed that multiple photos showed them moving in perfect sync as he pestered her as she retrieved.
All this is hard work!
