(Note)
Veda was an absolute rock star today and I could not be prouder of this girl for not having done much public access training the last couple of weeks,
It was my husband Bill’s first time handling Veda by himself and he just raved about how well Veda handled herself throughout the entire parade.
Everything from walking on a loose leash, lying quietly by his side, shaking paws with Smokey the Bear, keeping all four feet on the ground while greeting children and having a Wyoming State Candidate stop and get out of his vehicle asking if it was ok if he could pet her.  Come to find out he was a proud owner of two long-haired German Shepherds himself, while giving Bill a flag that she wore proudly on her collar They also received several other items from other participants, Frisbee, mug cooler.
