Zest at Morning Playtime December 28, 2024

Zest had the seventh turn for ball play.  The light was very variable during her play session, so some of the photos are darker than I like, especially the ones where she is against the white sky.  I try to throw the ball far enough that it’s close to the ground by the time the dogs catch up to it, but, like Dakuya, Zest is SO fast that she gets to the ball while it’s in the air. I caught a bunch of photos of her well off the ground, some pretty dramatic catch scenes, and some hilarious reactions to the ball bouncing where she didn’t expect it to go – including a whole series of photos of her looking the wrong direction for the ball as it bounced.
