Playtime Fun!!
10/29/25
After getting such great golden photos of Pilot and Dancer a couple of weeks ago when they came through town (see Pilot’s and Dancer’s photos), I hoped to get photos of my crew before the fall colors were over. Two weeks of heavy rain didn’t help any, but I finally had a day of decent weather when I was home, so I tried. There wasn’t a lot of tree color yet, but the grasses around my fence-post pile had dried to a beautiful light-gold color that sure captured the sunlight. I hadn’t been able to get a handyman all summer, so the grass hadn’t been cut down, which I usually do to prevent the dogs getting grass seeds in their ears. To get the colors AND have the sun behind me, I had to use an area that slopes downhill. It did make for some interesting photos of them coming uphill! I was pleased that most of my kids showed off the beautiful reach they have in front from their great shoulders – we breeders work very hard to get excellent 90-degree angle shoulder conformation!
Unfortunately, storm clouds moved in as the morning went on, so I didn’t have the fantastic lighting I hoped for, but I got some decent photos. Because some playtimes were n good lighting and others in not-so-good light as the storm front moved in, I’ll list the photos in order of the playtimes.
Hesed, Varoom! and Zest get to play every day as I do poop detail, so they had the last of these photo sessions. We started with Hopeful. I’ll show 2 photos for each dog on this page with the link to the page with all their playtime photos.
