“She is such a beautiful little soul! Such a necessary part of our family. She brings joy to every day!”

Taryn (Celhaus Taryn NW3) at 5 years
11/16/25: “Saturday we competed in a USCSS nosework trial. We earned our DDA Title. Detective Dog Advanced. 4 searches with 3 hides in each. Taryn got a first place in Interiors & a 4th place in Containers.  She is becoming a very focused sniffer!”
Congratulations, Team Taryn!!!!
“Taryn earned our first NACSW NW3 Title yesterday at a College in Johnstown NY. You need to pass NW3 three times to get into Elite.  6 searches with 0-3 hides per search -we had 2 Exterior -2 Interior -1 Container & 1 Vehicle with 2 -3 minutes per search – all unknown until the end of the day. Such a mind game!!!  We found all 9 with no faults. Yay for us!!!”

8/24/25: “Taryn was spot on finding all 10 hides -she showed such confidence in this Trial-not worried about shiny floors or distracted from her job. I blew it for her …we did get a leg toward our 2nd NW3.  For this level you need to pass 3 NW3 Trials -6 searches all 0-3 unknown. If you make 1 mistake you get a leg. 2 legs = a Title.  I kept her in the blank (no odor) vehicle search too long & I think she got bored & played around with a grate on the back of a trailer, & stupid me called it. Ugh.  She is an angel I can’t tell you how many people come up to her & just love her -she is a fabulous ambassador for the breed.  Great traveler in the car & motels too.”

Jax (Celhaus Triumph) at 5 years
“It’s been busy over here and I am sorry for the delay in getting some pics of Jax to you now that he turned 5 years old. We celebrated his birthday by renting a river house in Maryland for the whole family including relatives who flew in from CO and our other 2 family dogs. We all had a blast and the dogs loved swimming in the river, playing in the large yard, and just hanging out together.”
