Whelped 10/3/20: five males and five females
Mr. Green (“Kellan”) went to New York to compete in nosework and will also train in agility, herding, and be a therapy dog – her second dog from me. Miss Yellow (“Taryn”) went to New York to compete in obedience, agility, nosework and possibly tracking & Schutzhund. Mr. White (“Jax”) went to Washington, DC to be a service dog for a veteran, while Mr. Brown (“Talon”) is now a service dog in Casper, WY. Miss Pink (“Lucca”) went to Montana to be a companion – her second dog from me. Miss Lilac (“Elsa”) went to southwest WY to be a companion and therapy dog. Miss Orange (“Tirzah”) went to Colorado to be a companion and Reading Dog (therapy dog for children). Mr. Blue (“Maximus”) and Mr. Turquoise (“Gunnar”) went to California to a family who already have or had 4 of my dogs; Mr. Blue went to the parents while Mr. Turquoise went to one of the adult sons. Miss Tan (“Roxanne”) went to southern Colorado for Search & Rescue.

Roxanne (Celhaus Turn On Your Red Light Roxanne) at 5 years 7 months
Roxanne is a Search & Rescue Dog, nationally certified in cadaver. She lives with Ducati (AAA litter), who is also training in Search and Rescue, cadaver.
5/27/26: “Over the last 1.5 months Ducati and Roxanne have traveled from California and tomorrow all the way to N Dakota. They have assisted with 4 searches with 3 of them providing clues to law enforcement and families. Hopefully this Thursday they will help another family in N Dakota. These dogs easily travel one day and search the next, they can go from couch potato to running 100 acres. Fly? No problem! Truly love your line of dogs! Exactly what a German Shepherd dog should be.”

3/9/25: “Just wanted you to know that Roxanne, Ducati (YY litter) and Packer (AAA litter) trained today. Roxanne is methodical and very thoughtful in her work. Ducati is well named, he comes out hot with engines revved and with great joy and enthusiasm finds his target odor. Packer is so similar to Roxanne. He is so thoughtful and methodical, took his new trailing challenges in stride and excelled.”

“December 14th. It’s like summer out today!”
Kellan (Celhaus Truehearted Kellan NW3 CGC) at 5 years 7 months
“We trialed today in Buffalo at a university. Great trial site. It was a cold and very windy morning. As the day went on the sun came out, not as windy and much warmer. We had 6 searches. 2 interiors, 2 exteriors a vehicle and container. Kellan got his 3rd and final NW3 title which gave him his NW3 Elite title. He also got first in containers. NW3 is a mind game. So glad it’s over and on to Elite which is for points. So proud of my wonderful boy.”

4/9/26: “Last weekend Kellan was in a NW3 trial and L1 container search. On Friday Kellan got his 2nd NW3 title. He ranked 9th out of 38 dogs. He only needs 1 more NW3 title and he moves up to Elite. On Saturday we went to and NACSW trial for just containers L1C. Easy peasy. He ranked 1st out of 38 dogs. He had 5 minutes total to do 4 container searches. His total time was 38 seconds. So we had a great weekend. This is also what Kellan has done in the last year, prior to this last weekend.”

“Thank you for the birthday wishes. I can’t believe he’s 5. Time is going too fast. So good to hear from you. Kellan is doing great. I don’t trial in the summer. I’ve had to pull him out of a trial because 5 out of 6 dogs had diarrhea. Kellan was the only one that didn’t have it. It took a month to get things back to normal. I have an Elite-S trial on the 19th and a USCSS trial in November.” (no photos)
Lucca (Celhaus Thankful in Montana) at 5 years 2 months
Name Story: Lucca is a Military Service K9 who was trained to locate EIDs. Top Dog is a book about her, written by her main and second handlers. She was adopted by her main handler after an injury forced her retirement.
