Whelped 1/16/22: 2 black and tan females and 1 black male
Miss Green (now “Shiloh”) went to Colorado for competition and therapy dog work. Miss Pink (now “Rainey”) went to Utah for therapy dog work. Mr. Purple (now “Porter”) stayed here and, as a therapy dog, will help his owner in his counseling work.
Rainey (Celhaus Walk Beside Me Rain or Shine) at 3 years 1 month
“Rainey and I walked to Starbucks to get us a treat. She likes watching everyone. Here she is just relaxing like a good girl!”

Photo 1: “I think Rainey had a pretty nice day for her birthday. We went to Parrish Creek and she got to say hi to her friends there and get a treat bag from them. I weighed her and she weighed a little over 68 lbs. I don’t expect her to get much larger and I clearly don’t want her to get thicker than she is now. I think she’s just right with her weight as it is. Then we met Dominick at Starbucks and the girls gave her a special pup cup for her birthday. She had her new “It’s my birthday” collar on. I will take a picture of her wearing it and send it to you. Then we went for a long walk around the neighborhood and strolled through PetSmart, Home Depot then through the neighborhood again. I was going to try to find her some kind of dog cake but I didn’t want to risk a tummy upset, so I’ll make her an extra nice dinner here in a little while. All in all she and I had a fun day and I can’t believe she’s 3 already! Time has gone by much too fast. She’s still perfect as always! I love her so much and every day I feel blessed I have her in my life! As I spend more time with Rainey I have one regret. That I didn’t realize how amazing GSD’s were and I didn’t start my journey with them 20 years ago. I’m pretty sure I’ll only have enough time in my life to enjoy my Rainey but she has been the best blessing I could ever ask for.”

“I’m in complete shock! Rainey is playing with a toy that’s not her Holy Roller! She has a bin full of toys, but will only play with her Holy Roller. It’s been crazy around here. Rainey is doing great through all the craziness though. She’s still so awesome! I always tell her, ‘Mom loves you too much, Rainey.’ Of course she has no clue! Everyone who meets her adores her.”
Shiloh (Celhaus Wind in Wyoming) at 3 years 2 months

“Thanks for the birthday wishes. Shiloh had a good day with a long walk, a new toy and a pup cake! I can’t believe she is 3 today!! She is the best girl! We won’t be doing any therapy work any time soon. Brian loves it when she jumps up on him. So she has a tendency to become a fur missile. But I think we will be ready for rally again – and she loves nosework!”
