Halloween 2025

Halloween 2025

A lot of my pups enjoy dressing up for Halloween.
Check back frequently to see additions.

Before I show photos of my pups, Cathy, who has Charis from the JJ litter and Breeze from the ZZ litter, wrote that she doesn’t dress up her dogs anymore, but she sent a favorite Halloween picture of her beloved Cody from 30 years ago, dressed up as a German shepherd for Halloween.  It’s such a cute costume, I asked her if I could include it on my Halloween page.

Marshal (UU litter, 4 years 9 months) says “Happy Halloween!”

Jamboree (JJ litter, 9 years 10 months old) and Quizz (6 years 6 months old, QQ litter) participated in Trunk or Treat.
“K9 Jamboree has been called to duty to assist K9 Quizz in escorting notorious criminal Miss Keona to Trunk or Treat event at the high school. Trunk or Treat is put on by the City of Sundance, clubs and local businesses.  Jamboree, Quizz and Keona (sheltie) represented the Crook County 4H Dog Program.”
Photo 1:  “Jamboree is ready and willing!”
Photo 2:  “Quizz isn’t a fan of her officer costume hat.”

Booker, 2 years old, is from the AAA litter.
“Booker’s dinosaur pjs showed up today!”
Cel’s note:  Don’t miss the cute ridge of scales along his back.

Rainey, 3 years 9 months, is from the WW litter.
Photo 1: ““I don’t think Rainey is too thrilled with her Minnie Mouse costume! Yesterday was the first day I put it on her. I’ll start getting her used to it so she’ll be okay wearing it for the costume event on the 30th.”
“I don’t think Rainey is too thrilled with her Minnie Mouse costume! Yesterday was the first day I put it on her. I’ll start getting her used to it so she’ll be okay wearing it for the costume event on the 30th.”
Photo 2:  “Rainey, still dislikes her Minnie Mouse costume.  Mom Debbie puts it on her for a little while every day to get her ready for the costume contest on the 30th.  Rainey is very cooperative while Debbie puts the costume on, but then she pouts the whole time she wears it.  Debbie sent a photo of a BIG pout.”

Rainey did fantastic at the costume event in Utah.  She represented plus Dog Training Elite at the last Farmer’s Market of the season.  Debbie commented, “Everything was pretty crazy, but Rainey did fantastic! She is really starting to know her job (she’s training to be a therapy dog.)  It was so busy that it was hard getting photos.  I managed to photograph the ghost (2nd photo) but failed to get a photo of a seven-foot-long wolf with fangs and claws as it petted her.  It was pretty scary but it didn’t faze her.”  Rainey is in the shadows on the right in the booth photo. Can you find the black dog lying on the table?  He sure blends in…

My Pascha, who is from the YY litter, is 2 years 6 months old and wore a costume for the first time on our therapy dog visit to Green House Living.  A resident was so excited about it that she brought out HER spider (silver & fuzzy) and put it on Pascha’s rump. Pascha walked around with it; she could have cared less.  She was such a good sport on her first experience of wearing a costume.  I was very proud of her.

My Hopeful (5 years 5 months old, SS litter) had fun wearing the spider costume during Reading Dog at Tongue River Elementary.

My Varoom! (4 years old, VV litter) wasn’t quite as excited wearing it on a visit to Westview Healthcare Center, though she was a huge hit with the residents.
